The Historian Assistant is the first book of a trilogy that follows the life of Eileen Richards.
Many light years away from a long-dead Earth is Station One, which was the gateway to the Off World Systems, in a holding cell on this station sits Eileen Richards. She is days away from being sent to prison to await trial. Prison would be a death sentence and her gang is working hard to raise the money for bail.
Eileen’s bail is posted, not by her gang, but by Mr. Clark. Through coercion, he teams her up with a late Earth historian. Clark takes them to an uncharted planet where they find the first evidence of intelligent alien life, soldiers from Earth’s ancient past, with their atomic bombs now banned in the Off World System.
Clark’s plan for these atomic bombs would kill millions and allow him to take control of the Off World Systems. To stop him, Eileen will use her technical expertise to train these ancient Earth soldiers, fight alongside them, and become one of them.
